IHCI 2004 is organized by the Indo-European Systems Usability
Partnership (IESUP) under the auspices of EU's
Asia's IT&C
initiative in association with the Computer Society of India
(CSI)
and the British Computer Society (BCS).

and ACM/SIGCHI
By participating in IHCI activities you will listen to invited
presentations from international speakers from the US and
Europe and also internationally peer-reviewed presentations
from the leading edge of HCI in India.
- Engage in detailed academic papers, industrial
case studies and institutional reviews,
- Specialize in issues relating to the integration
of usability within commercial IT systems development.
- Review the 'state of the art' within Indian
HCI as it
applies to human factors, ergonomics, humancomputer
interaction, information systems, software
engineering, SDLC, social sciences and management
and associated disciplines.

KEYNOTE :
The final program including speaker details will be available
shortly. John Karat of IBM Watson Research Labs in the US &
IFIP TC 13 Chair will join us as a keynote speaker. John's
attendance at IHCI therefore provides a unique opportunity to
'institutionalise' Indian HCI and usability within the global IT
community.Other prominent speakers are being contacted and
we hope to get their confirmation at the earliest.
